Vacuum selection
  1.How to select a vacuum pad 2. How to select vacuum pipe volume

  D = vacuum pad SIZE (mm)
M = Product Weight (kg) N = safety factor (2)
U = vacuum degre(kpa)    S = Vacuum to pad

  V = Vacuum volume (L)
D©÷ =diameter of tube (cm)
L = length of tube (cm)

An example for vacuum system selection EX

Ex) If you want to hold and convey a 60 kg packing box within 0.3 sec. using 5 pads at a normal temperature, what kind of vacuum pad and pump model are suitable?

(Conditions the length of the air pipe = 3 m diameter of pipe = 6 mm vacuum degree = 60 Kpa )

* MB75 = Select one size bigger one than the theoretical size.

Vacuum pad volume MB75 = 110cm©ø = 0.11 L X 5EA = 0.55 L

Vacuum pad volume + Vacuum pipe volume = Volume to become a vacuum from a vacuum pump through a vacuum pad

*Selection of the Vacuum pump model*
VMP10 = 0.64 L X 0.69¡¯ = 0.44¡¯
VMP20 = 0.64 L X 0.35¡¯ = 0.22¡¯   Pump selection = VMP 20 or VMP 30
VMP30 = 0.64 L X 0.26¡¯ = 0.17¡¯
